Long story short, my parent’s wedding anniversary was on Aug. 4th, and they had to miss out on it due to lots of traveling stuff. They put others before themselves, and they’re just freakin’ amazing, let alone having been together for 26 years now.

They’re an inspiration to me.

And since they’ll be off to the coast for some fun times, I’m making them a mushy mix cd, full of lovey songs ranging from Colbie Caillat to the Beatles.

I can hear it now:

Mum: Oh this is just DARLING!!

Dad: …*long-suffering sigh*
