I wouldn’t change a thing about you
I wouldn’t ask the green to be blue
I wouldn’t ask the birds not to fly
Or change a thing in the sky
Or turn hello to goodbye
I wouldn’t ask the birds not to sing
I wouldn’t ask the phone not to ring
I just couldn’t ask the wind not to blow
Or a boat not to row
Or a trio to go solo
You are amazing just as you are
You’re a flower in the spring
You’re the light each morning brings
And I adore you
Just the way you are
You’re not the star that I wish on
You’re the wish on my star
I’d forgotten how much fun it is to just play the piano. Not play any songs or specific melodies. Just…playing chords and letting the music direct my hands. Sitting alone at a piano on a curtain-shrouded stage brings all sorts of magic to life.
If you’ve got a Pandora, type in “Caravan Palace” radio. You won’t be sorry.
This song popped up, and it’s just wonderful.
Seeing these guys live was beyond wonderful!
They played this song for us, and now that I see it with the music video, it’s all the more special to me :D
It’s songs like this that make my morning better :D

Sing hallelujah
The sun’s breaking through
To take back the dark sky
And make everything new
We knew joy was coming
But we just had to wait
And now we sing hallelujah
‘Cause it’s a brand new day
So let’s sing hallelujah
The dark night is gone
Creation is singing
So come join in the song
The Father is calling
To come out and play
So we’ll sing hallelujah
‘Cause it’s a brand new day
Sing hallelujah
It’s a brand new, beautiful day
Nothin’ like a little Beck to get you through some arts.
I’m currently learning this song on my ukulele, and it’s loads of fun.
And if you haven’t listened to Leon before, kick back right now and veg out to his growly crooning.
A good way to start the day.

Jamming to this while I draw. God bless the bass properties of Skull Candy headphones.
