Well the new filling is in, and the molds of my tooth are on their way to “the lab” in order to process and create my crown. I’ll head back in 3 weeks’ time to get it.

In the meantime, God bless Novocaine, but it’s my jaw that hurts from having it sit open for so long.

On the flip side, both my dentist (who’s an absolute sweetheart and reminds me of Benedict Cumberbatch) and his assistant said that I’m their favorite patient and they “throw a party” whenever they know I’m about to show up.

Makes it all worth-while, knowing that I can make someone’s day even if they’re just digging around in my mouth with drills.
