Just got back from seeing “The Avengers”
It was pretty good.
AKA
So don’t mind me whilst I hop on the “I love the Avengers” bandwagon for a while.
Favorite bits: Tony SNARK (all of it), and Hulk’s ninja-smash to Thor, and then his beat-down on Loki. Mark Ruffalo is darling, btw.

There’s a rounded base on the lamp stand (just below the bulb) near me. I happened to glance over and see a tiny spider - nearly the size of my pinky fingernail - crawl up to the edge of the aforementioned base.
He chills there for a second, his front legs poised above him.
Then he bolts - absolutely beats cheeks around the edge like there’s no tomorrow. Poor guy probably realized he...

How I Express My Love For Theater, or...
The high school kids’ performance of “Godspell” was a raving success! Oh man, those kids were FANTASTIC! And the sweeties made me come up on stage to be recognized for my work on the sets.
And they gave me flowers, you guys.
Lawdy mercy, I love Lori (the director). I love SKIT. I love theater in general so much.
SO. SO. MUCH.

Guys.
Golden Grahams for breakfast.
My favorite non-healthy breakfast cereal at my disposal!
I haven’t had Golden Grahams since I was in grade school…well, there MIGHT have been a time or two somewhere between, but if so, it was rare. It’s not worth buying these days simply because of it being so expensive.

Another 15 minutes, and I’ll be a very, very happy person.

~ Godspell sets are done! My fingers are covered with paint, and it’s on my knees as well, including splinters. Some of the set builders had to make some modifications on the fire escape they made, and so there was dust, shavings, and splinters all over.
~ watching Downton Abbey with my mum, who’s never seen it before. Ho ho ho, the feels all over again! I’ve grabbed my face a...

How You Can Tell If The Day Is Going to Be Sunny...
I’ve lived in Oregon my whole life, and a good portion of the time, the weather is overcast/rainy. But I’ve discovered that I can tell the difference between sunny and overcast just by looking at the light peeking through my dusty old blinds.
The light of an overcast day is heavier, more sluggish, and dull. It doesn’t dance with shadows, and simply sprawls wherever it falls.

Don't Mind Me #2
Yay hour-long phone call with Uncle Beans!
Boo that I miss him so much.
2-ish months, and then I’ll get to see him again. At least there’ll be texting and calls in between. One of the first things he asked when we began talking was “So you’re coming down this weekend, right?”
